In 2000 the Society also established a new developmental scholarship for students in need of financial support to continue their piano study and expanded this program in 2002. The award winners are selected by the Board in consultation with the candidates' teachers.

We congratulate this years award winner: Luis Rosario, and his teacher Marina Salganik who were honored at the November 14th 2010 Musicale.
